We are pleased to invite you to the "INVENT-INVEST 2025" Innovation Workshop and Exhibition, an international event, which continues the series of our traditional events under the aegis of the "International Fair of Inventions and Practical Ideas". The event will take place in the city of Veszprem, Hungary, during November 20-21, 2025, being organized as a satellite event within the European Conference on Innovation Management (ecim 2025), by the Society of Inventors of Romania, in partnership with the Technical University "Gheorghe Asachi" of Iasi, Romania (https://www.tuiasi.ro/?lang=en) and the University of Pannonia (Pannon Egyetem GTK) and with the support of private companies and government institutions.
This event aims to facilitate the meeting between researchers and inventors from Romania and Hungary, who work in different scientific fields, in a framework that allows them to both present their own innovative achievements and the research capabilities and facilities of the institutions they represent. This opportunity is a good opportunity for participants to get to know each other better with a view to future collaborations and ultimately to create the necessary premises to transfer the know-how developed in the academic community to the production and business sectors.
At the same time, this workshop represents an opportunity to increase the visibility of each participant's institution and promote technical creativity, while contributing to the development of new technologies and complementary services, depending on the current needs of each country.
Thus, the objective of this event is related to stimulating creativity, the development of new technologies, products and services with high competitiveness, especially due to their innovative nature.
Following this, the best performing patents that will be presented at this event will be evaluated by experts, with prizes awarded accordingly.
The event will be hosted by the Faculty of Business and Economics, Pannonia University, Veszprem in partnership with Corvinus University of Budapest, considered among the top universities in Hungary. The city of Veszprem, is located on the shores of Lake Balaton, approximately 100 km from the capital of Hungary, being considered the largest economic, scientific and cultural centre of Balaton area, offering visitors multiple opportunities to spend an enjoyable academic stay.
The participation fee, which includes lunches and coffee breaks, as well as the "Festive Dinner", is 140 euros, which is paid to the account of Pannonia University, via the ECIM 2025 website! Participation is conditioned on physical presence at the event with the mandatory presentation in English of a patent (with a summary sent in advance to the organizers) of which the participant has the quality of author/co-author and assumes the coverage of transportation and accommodation expenses (about 200 Euro/person). On the last day of the event, a paid trip to Vienna or Budapest is organized with connexion to the transportation for return to Romania.
